Pastor Karl has been married to Andrea since 2006 and they have two teenage children. Pastor Karl spent his high school years in the small town of Trevor, Wisconsin and Andrea grew up in Chillicothe Bible Church. Pastor Karl holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has been in vocational pastoral ministry since 2008. He has served churches in the suburbs of Chicago and Reno, Nevada - the second least-churched city in the USA. Pastor Karl's passion is multiplying healthy followers of Jesus through the local church who multiply thriving, gospel-centered churches among all people. He is a visionary leader, passionate proclaimer of the gospel from every text of scripture, and intentional provider of pastoral care. When away from ministry, he is an avid skier, loves the beautiful game (soccer), and learns how to work through disappointment as a rabid Chicago Bears fan.
