Children and Student's Ministries
Light
Light is the senior high ministry of Chillicothe Bible Church. Students get to hang out and have fun while learning more about Christ. This creates theologically sound Jesus followers who go on to become vital members of the church in the college years and beyond.
Light is open to grades 9-12 and meets at the church from 7 – 8:30 pm on Sunday nights.
Salt
Salt is the ministry for students in 6th - 8th grade. Each dynamic meeting includes time to hang out and build relationships, time to study God's Word, and time to explore how the Word relates to daily life. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their faith in Christ and to learn to obey Him in every part of their lives.
AWANA
AWANA (Approved Workmen are not Ashamed) is committed to teaching children the Word of God through scripture memory, songs, games, and more. AWANA is for children kindergarten through 5th grade
Time: Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. from the months of September to April
All participants must submit a parental consent form to the church office (office@chillibible.org)
Children's Church
Children's Church is for children ages 4 through 3rd grade. Participants experience worship, Bible stories, memory verses, games, and crafts. Children are dismissed after opening worship music, before the sermon begins. Family Church, where the children remain with their families for worship, occurs on the first Sunday of the month during the summer, on the 5th Sunday when the service consists of worship music, prayers, and a shorter message, Easter Sunday, and occasional holiday Sundays.
